On Wednesday morning, May 15, LALIGA unveiled the nominees for its annual LALIGA Awards, among which Valencia CF midfielder Javi Guerra is nominated for the best U-23 player of the current season. The award will be presented, along with the KAFD Globe Soccer European Awards, at a gala to be held on May 28 in Cala di Volpe (Sardinia).

At international level, Guerra is one of the regular players in the call-ups with the Spanish U-21 National Team, since his debut in September.
Javi Guerra competes in this nomination with Lamine Yamal (FC Barcelona), Rodrygo (Real Madrid CF), Yan Couto (Girona FC), Savinho (Girona FC), Johnny (Real Betis), Pau Cubarsí (FC Barcelona), Miguel Gutiérrez (Girona FC), Nico Williams (Athletic Club) and Kubo (Real Sociedad).
